New Carbon Rocker SS

What can I say, this bike plain rips. Instant power to the ground on every pedal stroke. Bought the 4 star knowing I’d change a few things. Ended up with as close to the 6 star build you can get without the carbon wheels. Bike is right at 23 pounds for a large with Flow Mk3’s and Maxxis Rekon 29x2.6. This includes Pedals. It’s so much fun to ride it’s hard to grab my Mayhem or geared Steel Rocker........

SPOT Rocker SS

The Rocker is a Rocket. This bike begs to go fast. I have logged about 200 miles on it over the past few weeks and it feels faster every time. If you ride trails with flat sections be prepared to do intervals...pedal pedal pedal coast...because the gearing is a little low. That said, I can ride my local trails 10% faster on my Rocker SS because I am not shifting into an easier gear. I am pedaling harder. Absolutely love it.

Spot SS

The bike is beautiful . Unfortunately it arrived late in the year and we have snow and mud on the ground. So she is a garage queen until spring. The bike really is a work of art. I plan on racing it this next year.

I’m loving this Spot single speed!

Im loving this Spot single speed! If you like to pedal, I highly recommend it.

I enjoy pedaling up steep/technical single track and love riding steeper and more technical downs. I currently ride a 2020 170mm/160mm, high end enduro bike. It is a joy to ride. I ride almost everyday. Sometimes the enduro bike breaks and I need a second bike to back it up.

I have always wanted a single speed but never bought one. I researched them for a long time but I didn’t find a bike that excited me. When Spot announced the new carbon single speed, I liked the features I saw, spoke to Spot customer service and then preordered it. It will be my easy to maintain winter bike.

Some of the things I liked were the modern geo, carbon frame, well designed single speed dropouts, threaded bb, and belt drive. I put onyx racing hubs on it to make it silent and wider rims and tires to deal with my local terrain.

When it was delivered I was excited. The frame appears to me to be very thoughtfully designed and very high quality.

I’ve put in over 20,000 ft on it the first week. I’m loving this single speed Spot! It’s super fun! I highly recommend it. It climbs amazing. It’s a big workout. It brings new challenges to my old trails, as a single speed and a hardtail, both up and down the mountain. With the bigger tires I put on it descends well and climbing is even harder. I really like the different challenge it brings compared to my enduro bike.

Ive been switching between this Spot single…

Just when I thought you couldn’t improve on the Rocker, you went out and did this!!

I received my carbon SS on Sunday, put it together immediately, have ridden it everyday since, and can’t wipe the smile off my face 😃😃😃😃

Life will now be known as “Before carbon SS with belt drive/After carbon SS with belt drive!!”

Best SS I have ever ridden and loving every minute. Keep up the great work Spot!!
