Sales Associate / Client Services
Spot is seeking a Sales Associate who lives and breathes bicycles and loves helping riders find their next obsession. This role is perfect for an outgoing, knowledgeable, energetic, and affable cyclist who thrives on building relationships, sharing our innovative bikes, and delivering that āI canāt wait to ride thisā feeling to every customer.
This is a full-time, on-site role at our Golden, Colorado headquarters. Youāll be the friendly face and voice of Spotāhandling showroom visits, phone/text/email/chat inquiries, custom builds, demo rides, and order fulfillment while working closely with our assembly, operations, and leadership team right here in the foothills. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Deliver high-end client services and outstanding sales support across the showroom floor, phone, email, text, chat, and online channels to drive revenue and create exceptional rider experiences
- Greet customers, understand their riding goals, recommend the perfect Spot bike, conduct bike fits, and lead engaging demo rides that highlight our innovations, including the patented, highly-acclaimed Living Link suspension design
- Demonstrate a professional standard of collaboration and communication with teammates while maintaining a positive attitude
- Enthusiastically sell complete bikes, custom builds, parts, accessories, and apparel while creating meaningful upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Support multi-channel operations (e-commerce, showroom, email, chat, and phone) and help maintain seamless customer journeys
- Assist with the demo bike program by preparing the fleet, scheduling rides, supporting offsite events, and converting test rides into sales
- Provide excellent post-sale follow-up and engagement
- Participate in community-building activities including Spot Golden Hour rides, demo days, pop-up events, and local activations
- Execute customer retention tactics such as personalized outreach, abandoned cart recovery, loyalty incentives, and re-engagement of past customers
- Collaborate daily with marketing, purchasing, assembly, and service teams to optimize results and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for cycling and a strong desire to ride and talk bikes all day
- Relentless attention to detail and pride in professionalism
- Experience with modern mountain bike technologies, such as suspension, hydraulics, electronics, etc.
- Previous high-end client sales and service experience
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
Compensation:
The good-faith compensation range for this position is $50,000 ā $80,000+ total annual compensation (base pay plus performance-based bonuses), depending on experience, skills, and performance. As Spot continues to scale and grow, strong performers will have clear opportunities for promotion into senior sales, team-lead, and higher-earning leadership roles with significantly greater compensation potential.
