Bike Assembly Mechanic

Spot is seeking a Bike Assembly Mechanic, full- or part-time, to assemble and ship our premium analog mountain and gravel bikes and frames to the absolute highest standard. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented builder who thrives on precision, takes ownership of their work, and finds satisfaction in creating consistent, flawless results every time. If you love hands-on mechanical work, adhering to exacting standards, and being part of a quality-focused crew, you'll fit right in.

This is a full- or part-time, on-site role at our Golden, Colorado headquarters. You'll collaborate closely with assembly, production, and operations to guarantee bikes go out on schedule, perfectly built, and ready to impress customers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Assembling analog bikes and frames to exact specifications according to SOPs
• Performing final quality inspections to confirm every bike meets Spot's rigorous standards for safety, function, fit, and premium presentation
• Demonstrate a professional standard of collaboration and communication
• Receiving, packing, and shipping
• Organized inventory management

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years bike mechanic experience
• Relentless attention to detail and pride in workmanship is a must
• Experience with modern mountain bike technologies, such as suspension, hydraulics, electronics, etc
• Passion for cycling AND bicycles
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to exceptional quality standards
• No e-bike experience needed!

Compensation:
• $25-30/hr commensurate with experience
• Performance bonuses
