Great Bike

The Mayhem 150 is an efficient climber and fun descender. The light weight and efficient geometry helps me climb faster than I have ever climbed before. The Living Link seems to propel me up and over obstacles. The geometry is dialed and this bike descends with confidence. I am not afraid to point and shoot down rough trails. This bike can handle the rough. The carbon wheels and lack of flex in the frame allow me to make precise adjustments and corrections without any hesitation on the bike's part. Overall this bike is fun to ride.

Mayhem 150 review

I purchased the Mayhem 150 frame, I built it up with a DVO Onyx 160 fork, raceface carbon handlebar, cranks and wheels. Along with a sram gx drivetrain, brakes and fox transfer dropper post. This bike has exceeded all my expectations from the outstanding efficiency in climbing to the exhilarating down hill handling. After doing a basic suspension tune i took it, to the trails I ride the most for a shake down ride. On the first run I set 3 pr's and 2 2nd best times. I have now riden most of my local trails and have taken it on a couple of trips out of state. I have riden many different manufacturers and models and to be honest I thought I would be riding a Yeti. I am glad that I found a review of your bikes and researched you guys. I cannot wait for the 2025 riding season knowing that I will have a bike that can take on the gnarliest trails with utmost confidence. I do have a question, I bought 2 Yeti jerseys expecting to buy an SB140, would you be interested in a trade in to complete my ride. Thanks, see you on the trails.

Awesome trail bike

The Living Link is the real deal; virtually no slump in uphill climbs and then seamlessly ready to go on the downhill!

The shifters and dropper post are too close to the grips and not easy to adjust, this is the closest thing to a flaw on this bike.

I went with the 4 star build and find the Zeb Select to be a little harsh with the recommended rebound and pressure. The internals can be upgraded to a Zeb Ultimate which I might have to go for if I can't get it dialed in a little better. A weekend of downhill at a bike resort and my hands and fingers were sore from the chunky chatter. A squishier fork with more valving would be nice but as is this is a very stout downhill oriented setup that's good to go. I have not been able to bottom it out.

Awesome bike

I was really impressed about how well it climbs even better than the 130. And descending, man this thing is fast, If you are looking for a bike to do it all, get a 150 you won’t be disappointed. And the guys at the shop, they are really helpful and patient to answer all your questions.
