Our in-house demo program is your chance to feel that difference for yourself, right here at our headquarters in Golden, Colorado, just minutes from some of the best trails on the Front Range.
How it works:
Choose your bike, pick a time slot, and get ready to ride. At checkout, there’s a notes section. Please include your height, riding weight (including gear, pack, water, etc.), pedal preference (Shimano clipless, flats, or bring your own), and anything else we should know. This helps us prep the bike and makes your arrival smoother.

Booking Guidelines:
The goal of our demo program is to help riders considering a new Spot, get real trail time to find the right model and fit. We’ve kept it simple, low-cost, and flexible, and we ask that you only book what you need so the fleet stays fair, available, and running smoothly for everyone.
Where to ride
If you’ve got a trail you know well, that’s ideal. The best way to feel the difference is on familiar terrain. If you're coming in from out of town, we’re happy to recommend a great local loop based on your riding style. Trails areas like Apex Park, White Ranch, Matthews Winter, North and South Table, and Green Mountain, plus others, are close enough to get a good ride in a single 2.5-hour time slot.
Taking care of the bikes
Please ride like the bike is your own. If anything happens, like a crash, a damaged part, anything out of the ordinary, just let us know when you return it. If something needs replacing, we’ll only charge our cost.
A Note About the Demo Program:
We believe choosing your next bike should be low-pressure, fair, and helpful, with no strings attached. That’s why our demo sessions are just $10.
But keeping it this accessible only works if everyone plays it straight. We rely on the honesty and respect of the riding community to keep the program running. If it turns into the world’s cheapest rental fleet, it stops working for the people it’s meant to help.

It's a very stable, planted hardtail. More so than any hardtail I've owned. I wouldn't say playful, but linear, efficient, and really fun. One of the better bikes I've ever owned, and I've owned alot!!
The bike was exactly as expected, but more importantly the service was exceptional and the bike was dialed in for me already so I could make the most of the ride.
Super stoked about this bike! I was a little worried about the longer chainstays and the carbon frame being stiffer than a steel beam but all of those worries disappeared on the trail. The Spot Rocker SS proved to be planted on descents, and an absolute rocket ship on the climbs. Although the frame is carbon, it provided a subtle and comfortable ride on the more technical sections that inspired confidence even though it’s a carbon hardtail! As soon as you apply any amount of power to the pedals, it’s an immediate transfer to the dirt and it’s a complete blast! The simplicity of the single speed and the innovation of the Gates Belt Drive is unrivaled. This alone opens up an entirely hidden door to freedom that I haven’t felt on a bike in a very long time. There’s just something different about a silent bike when you’re pedaling that’s indescribable. This bike encourages you to ride better and smarter with the reward of a fantastic time on any trail. The bike was also setup for me perfectly and I didn’t find myself tweaking anything during the demo. The folks at Spot sure know how to build and smartly spec a bike throughout all of their builds with great pricing! Couldn’t recommend this bike more!
I took the Rocker to Matthew Winters for the demo. It was my first time on a SS but it was great. The carbon drive put all the power to the ground and the Fox 34 was perfect. The frame is light and a little forgiving. I put about 6 miles on it on the first ride. I recently purchased one and have been getting 20 miles per ride on it on the front range. My other bikes have been sitting since it got this. It is my new go to bike.
