Spot bikes deliver a ride that’s unlike anything else — refined, responsive, and built to thrive in big mountains at elevation. Designed and tested on Colorado’s toughest trails, our bikes are purpose-built to help riders Cover More Ground with more control and confidence.
Our in-house demo program is your chance to feel that difference for yourself — right here at our headquarters in Golden, Colorado, just minutes from some of the best trails on the Front Range.
How it works:
Choose your bike, pick a time slot, and get ready to ride. At checkout, there will be a notes section — please include your height, riding weight (including gear, pack, water, etc.), pedal preference (Shimano clipless, flats, or bring your own), and anything else you think we should know. It helps us get a head start on setup and makes things quicker and smoother when you arrive. Please bring your own helmet!

Need more time?
If you want extra time or want to try more than one model, go for it — that’s what the program is here for. Just a quick heads-up: our demo fleet isn’t huge, so we ask that you only book the time you truly need. We don’t want you to feel rushed, but being considerate helps make sure everyone gets a chance to ride.

Where to ride
If you’ve got a trail you know well, that’s ideal — the best way to feel the difference is on familiar terrain.
Not sure where to go? We’re happy to recommend a great local loop based on your riding style. Trails like Apex Park and Green Mountain are just a short spin from our front door.
Taking care of the bikes
Please ride like the bike is your own. If anything happens — a crash, a damaged part, anything out of the ordinary — just let us know when you return it. If something needs replacing, we’ll only charge our cost.
A Note About the Demo Program:
Demos are just $5 per session. We believe choosing your next bike should be low-pressure, fair, and helpful, with no strings attached. We just ask that you please be respectful and not treat the demo as a bike rental. Our program is designed for riders who are seriously exploring their next bike, and we’re proud to keep it accessible so you can test thoroughly without affecting your budget. If you’d like to try multiple models or need extra time, we’re stoked to help make it happen.

So fun. What a great bike, I enjoyed just about everything about the bike. Everything on it was an improvement from my older yeti SB 66c. The only area I thought the mayhem demo came up a little but short was the brakes. They were a little more “all or nothing” style than the incremental perfection I have become used to.
I did end up buying a ripmo but that is only because I found a great deal on a 1 year old Ripmo. Otherwise I would have built a 5 star Spot.

Wow! What a bike! 1st off the guys at the shop were awesome. They took the time to set up the bike properly for me and answered all my questions without being sales-y. Compared to other demos I've tried all components were in good working order and the tires had plenty of rubber. Now to the bike: So well balanced is the best way to describe it. Climbs like a goat and corners and descends with confidence. It's hard to find a lot of reviews on this bike so if you get a chance definitely take one for a ride.
Extremely well taken care of during a demo on the Mayhem 130. Perfectly fit for the bike and off to Apex for a great ride. Highly recommended!
